Candle care

Before you light your L:uminous candle please ensure that you read this to receive maximum burn time and scent throw from your candles.

 

For ideal burning, it is so important to·always keep the wick trimmed to 5mm! You can trim the wick before lighting or whilst it is alight. 

 

This ensures the wick does not curl and cause the candle to burn unevenly, preventing·wax build up on·one side. Remember to remove any wick debris from the candle.

When you first light your candle the first burn establishes a memory. Burn your candle from the wick to the edge of the glass for the first burn to prevent a “tunnel” then each time you subsequently light your candle.

 

It will “remember” to burn out to the rim, instead of tunnelling down the middle.

This time will vary on size of your L:uminous candle you have purchased –

 

• Small- 40 minutes

• Medium -1.5 hours

• Large – 2hours

 

Finally , ensure you keep your candle away from drafts to ensure an even burn.
